Ford Cortina Crusader Estate
This vehicle was a Covid lockdown project and was purchased originally as a parts car for the restoration of YWR108X. After completing YWR108X we knew the estate was too good to a scrap and began restoring it just before Covid which gave us to time to accelerate this project and we finished it during the pandemic. After a feature in Classic Ford magazine, it was entered into their end of year completion and was voted by readers as the restoration of the year 2021 and attended the NEC Haggerty Classic Car Show as part of the Cortina Fanatics club stand. It’s a rare car but also is unusual as it has power steering and a rare tilt Ford sunroof both of which were uncommon factory upgrades.
